The new 4th edition of our festival showcase will be held in 2 parts.

The main part of the festival will be online and in cinemas in Vrchlabí, Mladá Boleslav and Rychnov regions from 12th to 23rd February 2025.

Echoes of the festival will take place online and in other cinemas mainly in the Central Bohemia and Hradec Kralove regions from 24 February - 31 March 2025.

The main theme of the 4th edition will be JOY OF EVERYDAY LIFE.

What does everyday joy mean to you? Is it the smile on a friend's face, a family gathering, a sporting experience, or perhaps the protection of nature in your neighbourhood? Present your story through a short film that can be upbeat, serious, humorous, or exaggerated - it's up to you. While joy is the main theme, we continue to prioritise films on topics such as relationships, my identity, personal stories, conservation and sustainability.

We will also bring many changes especially to the non-competitive film sections and accompanying programmes.

The main change is the shortened name from A-FilmTeensFest to A-FilmTeens - International Film Festival for the Youngest.

We decided to change the name of the project because we have been frequently reproached that the name A-FilmTeensFest is too long, that it is not easy to pronounce... This is true. We didn't know how best to express that we wanted to: 1) to have the best possible ("A") films from all over the world, 2) to work with active and creative young people ("A") and through their work to influence other children and young people in particular, but also older generations, 3) to have a great ("A") festival for the youngest people, but who may not become professionals... As we wanted to emphasize the creativity and originality of the youngest, we have now chosen the shortened name A-FilmTeens, with the subtitle International Film Festival for the youngest.
