Dyschromatopsia
3RD YEAR
"The sun is yellow and the sky is blue." On a typical day in a painting class, the students keep on drawing as one of them struggles to follow. A short fiction film addresses the different views on color blindness and the contradictions that come with forcing a category of colorblindness on the sufferers.
Ali Banai Taheri
Dyschromatopsia was made by a 20-year-old Ali Banai Taheri - a moviemaker of Iran, Kashan native in 2002.
Ali Banai Taheri is a creative who occupies himself with all that the film and theatre have to offer:
he is a writer (Performance of Occupied Station, Theater of Love) director (New Wave, Dyschromatopsy)
and director of photography and art consultant in (Suffering and Color)
also an actor appearing in many works (such as the Sad West, Khorramshahr My City, Occupied Love, Station Performance, Jungle Bear, Everybody's Family, A Love Sermon...)
He is also a theater and documentary photographer and a Member of the Theater House, Member of the Meem Theater Group, Member of the Board of the Performing Arts Institute of Mahtab Honar Shahr, Member of the board of the Independent Art Film Group.
