To live in peace and do no harm. A rediscovered letter reminds a man living in a seclusion the trauma of his youth. A short film hinting at the Gestok/Gestapo era in Bali, during the neutralists were exterminated by the soldiers, mainly tells a story of a man who mentally overcame the gruesome wrong by returning to the roots and living in harmony with nature.

Director Statement:
This film depicts the historical events of “Gestok” or "Gestapu" and is conveying them as a metaphor through symbols and gestures. The historical event that is addressed using gestures is an attempt to speak a new and unique word. I want to convey the message in the film that when we know the truth, silence does not mean being silent or not caring, but wise in making decisions, not being daft and preparing something to defend against the tragedy.
This film was created by Steven Nathan Herdijaya, a 20-year-old student of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara from Denpasar, Bali. He started his career in film as D.O.P.
