Walking at night when you are a woman. When a young girl moves to a tropical city and experiences being harassed on a train, she learns a unique way that people in the city are trying to keep themselves safe with. A short animated film on the difficulties that people should not have to deal with, and yet they cannot avoid them, portrayed in a thoughtful and fantastical way.

    The film was created by then 19-year-old Faye Thomas, a Junior at Rhode Island School of Design.

    Originally from Southwest Florida, she loves the beach and the ocean, common themes in her illustrations and animations. She hopes to continue to make work that shares the often-overlooked stories of young women. In January of 2020 she worked as a VFX intern on the Adult Swim show “The Shivering Truth”.
