Introducing the filmmakers - Marko Horáček

The first Czech author we would like to introduce to you is Marko Horáček.

Marko Horáček also created films: Rednit, Rožec, Walking Through a Hundred Year old Paradise Garden of Bobbin Lace and Needle Lace, Hadrosvět, Blue Trail, Liteňské transformations, Sailing Guide and Nejde. These were also shown at the National Award for Student Design 2020 and at the Teplice Castle at the exhibition The Tender Beauty of Lace. Award Good Student Design; Junior Curators Award.

His name also featured, for example, in the joint exhibition Assimilation; (NE)SMYSL, he was also awarded: National Student Design Award; The tender beauty of lace; 2020 Good Student Design Award; Junior Curator Award 2020.

Firts film is Rednit. Needle, red, white. Right, left, swipe. The short animated film was "tailor-made" for the Secondary Textile School New Media atelier.

Second is Walking Through a Hundred Year old Paradise Garden of Bobbin Lace and Needle Lace. The finest cobwebs, boats and wheels. Two lace puppets take us through an animated film through the landscape of batoned and sewn lace in the course of the last century.

The third one has name Ragworld. The world, a pile of rags. A short animated film with an environmental subtext.

And the last one is (Uni)Corn. When Santa is in doubts, mom will have to do. A short animated film about wishing to have unicorns in the real world.
