THREE CZECH MOVIES IN THE YCN AWARDS SHORTLIST

Three Czech films have shone brightly in the shortlist of the prestigious YCN Awards (https://www.youthcinemanetwork.org/ycn-award), an organization that brings together youth and children's film festivals from around the world. This community strives to promote and support young talents, and we are thrilled to share the joy of having three Czech films selected in this exclusive shortlist.

The first film to make it to the shortlist is "Viktoria," created by the amazing ANIDĚTI group. This film falls under the category for children up to 14 years of age. "Viktoria" presents a touching story that captivates audiences of all age groups and showcases the power of young filmmaking in the Czech cinematic world.

The second film in the shortlist is "Collective" by Stela Konečná has earned a spot in the shortlist for the 19-and-under category. This film is a testament to the potential of Czech filmmakers, who can tackle challenging subjects with exceptional talent.

Last but certainly not least is the workshop film "Our Dreams," which also received an invitation to the shortlist. This project not only represents the artistic achievements of young creators but also carries an important message and determination. It's a beautiful example of how filmmaking can serve as a means to express emotions and share stories.

The grand announcement of the winners will take place on October 29th online through the ZOOM platform, and we will all be rooting for these three Czech films. This is an admirable success achieved through the hard work, talent, and dedication of these young filmmakers. Their presence in the shortlist at the YCN Awards not only proudly represents us but also inspires us to support the next generation of filmmakers and nurture the creative spirit of young people.

Congratulations to all those involved, and we look forward to what the future holds for Czech cinema.
