Kristina Dufková

Kristina Dufková is a Czech director, artist and animator and a graduate of the Animation Department at FAMU. For her animated film Life to Eat (2024), she received nominations for the Czech Lion Award in the Best Animated Film category, the Czech Film Critics Award in the Best Audiovisual Achievement category and the Innogy Award for Discovery of the Year. She is also the winner of the ANIFILM Award for Best Feature Film for Children for Fimfarum – The Third Time Lucky (2011) and the Anifest Award for Best Animated Film for her short graduation film A Tear Is Needed (2008). Her animated work (including the puppet evening film Stories About Mum and Dad) aims to connect the world of children and the world of adults.
