PRESENTING: Festival section JOY

A-FilmTeens 2025 will start its first section called JOY, in which it will present the block YOU MAKE MY DAY. It focuses on the beautiful things that surround us. It will look at the joys brought not only by film, but also by the world around us, in the form of short films, animations and music videos. All the films in this section tell stories that remind us that there is much beauty, humour and fun in the world, even in the most unexpected moments.

You can look forward to the following films:

I Went For a Run Today
A music video for the song Pokáče, which celebrates the simple joys of everyday life, this time from the perspective of running. Today I Was Running is created by drawing individual pixels of an image.

Tooth Too
Tooth and Toothie have to brush their teeth too. In this short slide we look at the importance of nutrition and how a poor diet can affect the health of our teeth.

Adventures of a Fly and an Ant
After being rescued from one predicament, Ant and Fly find themselves in another tricky situation right away. Join these two little heroes in their fun and mischievous flight, full of unexpected surprises.

Karupoa
A little alien goes on an adventure as he tries to find a rare fruit to eat - and his journey is filled with humor and fun plots.

The Other Planet
When a planet faces danger and comes under attack, its inhabitants must find a new home. This sci-fi tale takes us to worlds unknown. This short animated film was created using the paper animation technique.

Miau
All the robots on the spaceship are tasked with finding their assigned object. However, the pink robot is given a particularly tricky task - to find and bring back a stray cat. This film is a celebration of cats and their impact on our lives - the joys and sorrows that cats bring to their owners.

The Wolf and the Seven Minions
A wolf steals a pizza from somewhere. Unfortunately, the woods are full of outlaws, and you can't really keep the pizza from them. A story of struggle, friendship and trust finally found between unlikely companions.

Tramp Talk
A tramp, a guitar and some forest animals. An absurd comedy about friendship that can show itself in the most unexpected ways.

The Squishining
An absurd comedy about committed friendship.

This section promises not only entertainment, but also a deeper reflection on what all can bring us joy if we look around us with open eyes. Come and be inspired and look at the world from a more beautiful side!
