"The Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia is announced." Karel Alois Brodský, a student and a writer, suspects that difficult times await Czechoslovakia, and he confides in his friends with the intention of fleeing the protectorate. A short historical film about the 2nd World War, the times of oppression, collaboration and those who tried to break free.

    The film was created by 16-year-old students of the Panská Secondary School, Matěj Macháček and Vilém Neumann.

    Matěj Macháček is actively engaged in dubbing, for which he was nominated for the František Filipovský Award. With his war film "Lost" he won a special jury prize at the Pražský Filmový Kufr Festival and one of his own the latest completed projects is "Black Scabbard".

    Vilém Neumann participated as a cameraman in films of the Ambrozia film course, such as: "Every game has to end at some point" or "Imagination", for which he also wrote the script. Among his latest works is the satirical series "Black Scabbard", which he directed, participated in the script, VFX and production.
