Liam Butler and His Friends: New Kid On the Block

Liam Butler and his adventure is back! A young animator is drawn into his animated world, and has musical adventures across Liamland, and the multiverse. A short animated film on that "there's nothing a little imagination can't fix"!
Rainey Chervako, Liam Edward Butler
This second episode of this series, was created by Liam Butler (Creator), a 16-year-old autistic animator, composer, graphic artist and voice-actor based in Los Angeles. He likes to call himself an "everythingist." This is his second collaboration with Rainey Chervako. Liam created the characters, story and music, and animated the scenes, while Rainey called the shots - literally!
Rainey Chevako (Director) is an animator, documentarian, and educator currently based in Los Angeles. Their work engages with time, space, and the effect digital media has on the real world. They work with students to hone artistic skills and develop filmmaking abilities. They are currently a student at California Institute for the Arts.

This series is a fantastic team effort. Episode one ("Liam Goes To Liamland") was screened in six festivals. We hope episode two reaches an even wider audience, and that people have as much fun watching as we had making "Liam Butler And His Friends: New Kid On The Block."
("Liam Goes To Liamland" was selected by six festivals in 2021/2022, including: Children's Film Festival Seattle, Kids First!, A-Film Teens Fest, FIFES Comedy Festival, Anmtm! Online Animation Awards, and was a finalist in Teens of LA Film Fest. “New Kid On The Block” has been accepted into Busan International Kids and Youth Film Festival, Animex Screen, KIDS FIRST! Film Festival and is a SEMI-FINALIST of the Student Los Angeles Film Awards.)
